Job Summary: Manage Global Sales of the Personal Care business multiple times by building
presence in newer markets, while building the existing business to deliver on Brand wise,
Channel wise targets in line with business plan.
Reporting: The role reports to the CEO of the personal care business. The position would
initially supervise over a team of 4-5 country sales heads managing 6 countries. This would
increase as newer markets open and the team size would grow to 10-12 persons.
Oversee overall sales of the Business with respect to Market Share, Sales Value & Volume.
Contribute to formulation of overall Personal Care Strategy in Line with Company Vision.
Lead the Sales Function in Scouting for new businesses.
Finalize Contracts for Exports & Domestic Sales, in terms of margins and transfer prices.
Provide Leadership in ascertaining market potential for company's products in existing and
Develop a business and market plan for company products in terms of sales volumes, margins &
Ensure fulfillment of customer commitments and positive reinforcement of Company's image &
Review market performance with the distributor and the BU team to determine new
interventions or modify market plan for achievement of business objectives.
Devise sales strategy & sales plan to secure annual business objectives.
Ensure profit & Volume growth, keeping in view the long & short term company objectives.
Manage product-wise Annual/Monthly Sales, Volumes & Value Growth in assigned territories.
Review market performance with the import and the BU team to ascertain modifications in
market plan for target achievement
1.The candidate MUST currently or very recently have been in the personal care category
(Soaps ideally, else Shampoos).
Persons in the Foods, Home Care, Tobacco etc. would NOT do.
2.The candidate MUST have headed sales for multiple countries- person heading sales for
single country would not do.
Preference is for persons who have headed sales for multiple countries in Middle East, Africa &
3.The candidate MUST have experience in all Sales Channels - General/Traditional Trade,
Modern Trade and Institutional Sales.
