National Sales Manager for a Plastic Manufacturing company is responsible for creating and executing national sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Key duties include setting sales targets, managing and coaching a national sales team, analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and ensuring consistent sales performance across all regions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national sales strategies, set sales targets, and create plans to achieve them.
- Lead, coach, and manage a national sales team, including regional managers, to meet and exceed business goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Track sales performance, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to executive management.
- Work with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with new product launches and promotional activities.
Qualification:
- 12+ years of sales experience, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role, and proven experience in the plastics industry / FMCG Retail / Manufacturing
- A Bachelor's degree is often required, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
