Interface Manager

Al Khobar, Eastern Province
BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF THE JOB:
To manage consistently the multiple project execution interfaces from detailed engineering to
procurement, construction and site activities including commissioning and start-up. This is
achievable by ensuring the responsibilities as stated below and provide assistance as assigned.

TASKS AND RESPONCIBILITIES
 Full coordination between Company and Contractor in all execution areas
 Technical queries, deviations, changes and actions are closed out in a timely manner
 Develop and maintain an overall interface Plan for projects covering all identified and
potential interfaces. Ensure the development of an interface plan relative to activities as
per the contract.
 Monitor and ensure that Contractor performs all interface activities in accordance with its
obligations under the contract
 Facilitate agreements between the project team, Contractor and its subcontractors as
well as other interested parties concerning roles, responsibilities, and timing needed for
providing interface information
 Good knowledge in handling third-party contractors and negotiating as per our schedule
requirements
 Ensure to conduct multiple levels of meeting and document any kind of change or impact
for other functions to take over as project opportunity
 Carrying good knowledge in working with cross function team
 Interface coordination with various parties such as Consortium partner, Detailed
engineering Sub-Contractor, Installation Sub-Contractor, third-parties agencies and
Hook-up & commissioning agencies, Construction coordination, expediting engineering
deliverables, resolving construction issues
 Coordinating & expediting Technical interfaces between various engineering offices of
the project design team and construction team
 Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to
Project Managers where appropriate

PREFERED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
 Good Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / XL / PPT)
 Problem solving and root cause identification skills
 Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
 Working with cross function team
 Added Advantage - Candidate having experience working with Saudi- ARAMCO
EXPERIENCE – Should be an Engineering Graduate with minimum of 12 years’ overall
experience and with at least 3 years of experience in similar position, preferably with Previous
ARAMCO Experience.
