Sales Director (Advertising Industry)

​Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage all sales efforts in region (Team of 5-10 sales reps)
  • Consultative in your sales approach
  • Possess the necessary "hunter" mentality
  • Leverage existing and develop new relationships with agencies and direct clients in the market
  • Develop and execute annual strategic revenue plan that achieves goals and grows market share in assigned territory
  • Work closely with inventory and ad operations teams to maximize all opportunities
  • Identify, monitor and accurately forecast sales activity
  • Work closely with marketing to develop and maximize brand and presence in the market

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead and train team of 8-20 sales representatives, while maintaining own book of business
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience 
  • Proven innovative sales leader with a record of sales achievement
  • Effective driver of revenue
  • Ability to think and act strategically as a thought leader and problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail and roll up your sleeves mentality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time
