Jobskey Consultancy UK LTD  are actively recruiting an experienced Associate Quality Assurance Engineer – Customer Experience on behalf of our award-winning client who is one of the UK’s top fashion and beauty destinations, expanding globally at a rapid pace.

The Role
 
The successful candidate will have a real thirst for learning and an inquisitive mind-set. They want you to contribute to testing discussions and use that passion to question everything. You’ll work closely with other QA’s in the team to ensure that the software is well tested.
 
Each of the teams are working on their own APIs, that interact with other APIs which are owned by other teams within our clients company, as an associate QA you will be aware of what the gaps are and ask questions as to how they can cover them.
 
You’ll also be part of their QA Community, led by our Lead QA. You’ll be invited to community events, knowledgeshares and meet-ups, all to support you in your QA journey, ensuring you can be the very best version of yourself.

  • Azure Cloud micro services, Service Fabric, ElasticSearch
  • GIT, TeamCity & Octopus
  • Test libraries including N-Unit, RestSharp
 
What you’ll be doing
 
  • You’ll be asking questions of their developers and QA’s, You’ll be offering suggestions and improvements and have a real can-do attitude!
  • You’ll be working in an Agile environment, this means you’ll be working closely with the developers and the other QA’s in the team, you’ll be pairing with them, writing some automated checks together and exploring the software that is being tested
  • You’ll understand about non functional testing and really want to get involved in it as much as possible
  • You’ll be testing API’s, you’ll be using tools to aid your testing. You’ll be firing off requests and exploringwhat happens under certain circumstances
  • You’ll be using automation to aid your testing, you’ll be using tools to help you test better, to help you explore the software
  • You’ll be testing the entire pipeline, you’ll ask questions about the build pipeline to anyone that will listen, in order to allow you to understand the process better and ultimately test more efficiently
  • You’ll be testing the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment to production. Getting involved, checking logs, checking for alerts, deploying code through the environments and being an integral team player
