Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and developing new business opportunities within the building materials sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the building materials market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and industry professionals. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services. Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the building materials market. Develop strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
