JOB PURPOSE:
The Country Sales Manager holds end responsibility for achieving the Divisional Budget, with a focus on P&L / EBIT. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, introducing long-term initiatives, and providing leadership to the team. This role involves extensive collaboration with the Valve Manufacturing Facility (VMF) and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Strategy and Business plans.
- Introduce new initiatives for long-term business growth.
- Lead Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Margin Management, and Project Procurement.
- Liaise with VMF and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.
- Coach and mentor the team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector, particularly with valves such as Butterfly valves, Ball valves, Gate valves, Check valves, Globe valves, DEP Valves, NL Plug valves, and rising steam ball valves.
- Experience in developing strategic partnerships with international OEM partners.
- Ability to assess and present product portfolio improvements based on local market trends and client needs.
- Solid background in a similar role, servicing O&G clients with a similar product portfolio.
- Strong Sales & Business Development experience.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop plans for business units.
- Leadership skills with a successful track record.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with over 20 years of experience.
- Minimum 10 years as a Management Team member in the Valves Industry.
- Experience dealing with major clients and end users, handling (mega) projects, Distributors, and Agency business development in the Middle East.
