To specify, analyze, engineer, design, implement and support information systems that facilitate the refinery operations and business activities of Company This includes: Local and wide area network infrastructure and personal computers, Cyber Security, SAP and business application systems, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) systems and any non-process based IT system.
DUTIES:
- Administration: Administer refinery-wide IT. This includes, but not limited to Local Area Network and Active Directory maintenance, Servers and PC Workstations, SAP, Business/Engineering Applications and CADD. Perform software upgrades and software installation.
- Support: Investigate and resolve systems issues, which helpdesk technicians cannot resolve and ensure all problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Development: Program/Configure Business Application as applicable to reflect the requirements of existing business practices. Document all changes.
- Training/Documentation: Provide computer systems software applications documentation and provide training support on the use of software packages or functionality updates.
- Project Handling: Participate in specification and engineering of new/enhanced systems to meet the operational and business requirements of Company. This includes:
- Specification of hardware, software and application functionality
- Development of Complex Business Analysis schematic diagrams such as Data Flow Diagrams and business process requirements.
- Supervising network cabling, computer hardware and software installation (by contractors or others),
- System commissioning
- Documentation (manuals, drawings, etc.)
- Developing user-training material and conducting key user training where required.
- Implement IT solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Keep up to date with current control and information technology so as Company can take advantage of the best technology.
- Coaching: Educate, coach, mentor less experienced engineers and key business users.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of related experience and mainly in SAP plant maintenance (PM) & project scheduling (PS) module
